Hi there and welcome!

to our 12 Days of Christmas giveaways
with Seams to be Sew and myself here at Quilt Art Designs

Today I have our Day #3 Penguin come out and greet everyone...
She's very shy, but very cute!

Thanks for all the positive encouragement and comments!

The pattern download is through Google Drive.

The day #2 is now on sale and available through Craftsy.

As usual the pattern measures 10" (26 cm) and is on the Intermediate level
Her sweet pink penguin pj's make her sooo adorable!

Yesterday a lady told me that my patterns were too intimidating for her and that made me a little sad. To me - who has only done paper piecing now since 2013 - all patterns are equal. They all work in the same way. If you can make a beginner star pattern, then you can also make a penguin pattern. You work the same way with each one of them...slowly does it and you will be able to manage!

I hope you enjoy making the penguins..

Be sure to also visit Seams to be Sew and see what Marian has for all of you!
Her Festive Trees are so sweet and adorable that even I'm going to start making a few of them.

Your patterns are beautiful as usual!

I think there is a misconception that paper piecing is difficult so any pattern that involves more than one piece is intimidating.
People don't know that a block like your penguin takes much less time and effort than making than the traditional "cut and sew 30 HST and use accurate 1/4 inch seam otherwise your block will look awful and wonky" :)

Thanks for sharing these fun patterns!!
