Paper Piecing Block of the Month (BoM) News!
Hello to everyone who has joined in the "In the Garden" paper piecing BoM. I'm really glad to have each person along with me as we tackle this project.
I really hope that you are all enjoying the blocks so far. We needed to start off with something a little easier so that everyone feels they are really part of the experience and soon everyone will be able to tackle the intermediate blocks.
A lot of people are still asking me if they can join in and where they can find the blocks. Unfortunately some of the people sending comments are non-reply bloggers and I can't answer them or send them info directly, so hence the update.
EVERYONE who is willing to give this a go is more than WELCOME! I don't have a formal sign up sheet or anything, you just hop on over to my Craftsy shop and download the FREE pattern for that month. Each month we will do another block and the previous month block will then be put on sale for $4.00. All other info is on the PP BoM Page at the top of the blog.
So far we have:
January: Trees 1 & Trees 2 (2 Patterns) - completed or nearly there.....
Comming soon -
February: Humming Bird and Hibiscus (2 Patterns)
These are both 12" (30cm) and are very straightfoward when putting the segements together.
If you're still on the fence about this BoM then let these cute blocks help you to get your leg on over and join us.
Some more great news .....
Paper Panache is featuring a pattern of mine that hasn't been seen yet - a cute snowman at the window. Visit her website and you will see it there on the Guest Designer Tab. Linda's patterns are SOOO Awesome!!, so do have a look at all she has to offer.
The sun is out in full force again today, so have a great day and I'm off to do some laundry. Yay! NLOL.......
