Each time I finish a 'row' I hang them up on a makeshift little line I have in my sewing room so that I can keep the repeat going and get a visual of what I'm doing.
As the wind is blowing in from the open door, the strips are flapping about like long ribbons. Not really sure why but my mind goes to those photos you see of Tibet and the flags they have flapping in the wind. Who knows, I have a wild imagination......
I ran out of the white fabric to make the rest of my 'ribbons', so now as I was digging through all the stash and realized that the white I have used in the quilt is not as white as the fabric in the drawer. Now I wait until I can go and get more.............(frustration!!)
I did finish my Feb 14 BoM block though - my cute little Hummingbird
Hopefully this week-end will see a few more "finishes".
