I've found that if I don't practice this every week, my brain just politely shifts it somewhere into the background and my hands turn dumb. Then its back to feeling as if someone else is holding the pen and I have the paper and I need to draw a picture.
I've designed a few Valentine's patterns and then converted the one into a mug-rug.
The block is 8" x 6" here and even now I'm thinking it would be cute as a 8" x 8" because the lips would look more 'pouty'.
It turned out okay for a trial run on making it into a mug-rug. I think next time I will use a lighter shade of red on the middle part of the lip.
These are other designs I've been working on with a Valentine's Theme.
The patterns are 12" (30cm) and available in my Craftsy Shop.
Other older beauties that could make great Valentines Gifts are the '2 hearts', 'warm heart' and 'rose' patterns.
Utterly kissable!
