Swirling Block - Geometric Design

I've been doing paper piecing for a while now and I think it's high time I do some traditional quilting. I have a WIP (work in progress) at the moment called Broken Wheel.

I'll post some photo's of that project soon, but for now I was thinking of doing a throw or even something a little smaller than that, that I could put onto my big square oak dining room table.

This is what I've decided on and the colours will be in blues/greens and beiges. The whole thing will be 9 blocks and then a border around it.

As I do this project, I will post the details and photos so that anyone who would like to join in can see how things are getting on.







This project will be suitable for beginners and intermediate quilters.
