Here in Africa a windmill looks really different. Nothing like those huge stone structures with blades that turn in the wind. I think I've only seen one of them in Cape Town and it was part of a museum.
I have seen a lot of pictures of windmills in the Netherlands or Greece, but that's about it.
Anyway I've decided to design a series of windmills that could easily fit together into a small lap quilt or a wall hanging. These will be available on Craftsy as free patterns.
