I've been running around doing everything else today. I haven't finished my block yet, but I'm putting it out there to show the progress so far. This is the "Cape Town" block that I'm doing for the Big City QAL.
The only reason I was taking so long with this one is - I don't have any fabric left. I keep finding little scraps and then sewing them together to make a piece big enough.
This is a close-up of the face.
I even made a mistake with the umbrella and lining the correct places up, so guess what, I'll have to take that piece off again !!! AAARGH!
