I started to show how I put the pattern together and then - well, I was rudely interupted by the flu - so now I'm going to quickly do a summary of it.
You all remember this pattern - it measures 16 x 22" and can either be used as a wall hanging or as the middle of a lap quilt.
These are the sections as they were completed. The finished pattern is "mirrored" because you sew onto the picture side in paper piecing. From each side it looks great though.
I'm going to have to practice a little more on the 'quilting' before I do it onto the finished top. I want the background to look like swirling wind.
And! that's it. Another one down.
