Satisfied feeling!!

Finished!!

The feeling of finishing something really brings a satisfied feeling. I should do it more often.....LOL.
I had to finish this lap-quilt for someone in a hurry and wasn't sure it could be done with me having to take so many breaks to lie down. It's the back... who knows.....old age I guess... (more LOL).

This is the cute 'floating blocks' making its debut.

This is the cute shop where I went to buy my fabric - Mezomode. In Meyer Str Wonderboom South, Pretoria. I'm so excited I feel like a child in a candy store. This lady has wonderful quilting fabrics etc. I feel like I found my home when I go and visit her.

Great news!! From January 2014, I'm doing a BoM where the Theme will be "In the Garden"
This cute humming bird is part of the 12 blocks we will be making.
Please make a note somewhere and join us for the fun.

Great quilt. That hummingbird block is fabulous! I'm lucky that I have a hummingbird feeder that I can see from both my office as I work and from my sewing room, and they are there year around. I love them so much! Thanks for linking up to Really Random Thursday!
