Cute Cushion Finished!

These are the last few days before the schools re-open, and although my kids are now all finished with school and my youngest son is in his second year at a music college, it always feels like such a new start to things - even bigger than New Year.

I also have that same excitement about my pattern business! I don't make New Year's Resolutions because I never seem to be able to keep them, so I'll just call them "Would Love To Resolutions" .....

I would love to :
Finish everything I start.........
Spend more hours sewing ............
Make more of my own designs........

Hhmmm, I'll add to the list later... ;)

Here is one of the cute little cushions that I have finished.

This is the pattern (10" - 25cm)  and the fabrics that I chose to make it in.

The cutting out of the pattern, making the segments of the pattern, sewing the segments to get 2 halves and then finishing it off.

This is "Compass Flower" and is a Free Pattern in my Craftsy Shop.

Makes a really sweet little cushion.

Here is another - the "Hearts Entwined" pattern. This pattern makes 4 large 18" blocks that can be made into a mini-quilt or wall hanging.
I changed the pattern to include a smaller 10" (2x10") and this cute 6" block (2x6") for a mini cushion of 12".  Great for a Valentines gift.

All patterns are available in my Craftsy Shop.

Have a Wonderful Friday and a gr8 week-end!

I really like your choice of colors in your compass flower block. The aqua is so pretty. Love the way the pillow turned out. What a fun project.

Oh my goodness, how beautiful and unique. I need to set aside some time to make some pillows. I love them and always think I need them.
