Art Quilt Pattern Winner!

Well it's Monday!  and it's raining - still ..... getting really annoyed! Need to do the laundry. Need the sun to dry the clothes ..... see my problem .......

anyway, it's also Giveaway prize time. I randomly drew a name and the winner is:
scrapatches....  Congrats! I'll email you shortly.

Thank you to all the interest in the patterns out there! It's really heart warming - also all the lovely comments. Thanks!

Here are a few photos of my Portrait Art Quilt

I wanted a fireworks background with the outline of a city.

Then I started to make lines onto the hair and face.

The light also on her face and hair was done in  the colour I used for the fireworks.

here I started to make more shadows onto the face.

Ta-Da! this is my Art Quilt all done.

Now I need to concentrate on doing my pieces for the Art Quilt QAL with "Girl in the Wind".

This 'Portrait' pattern is 16 x 22" and is now available in my Craftsy Shop.

Have a good Monday~

I am sew lucky to have won your pattern for your beautiful art quilt!
I have always loved portrait quilts but never had a clue as to how to go about actually making one myself. Your pattern breaks it down into small steps that I can do.
Your finished quilt is amazing.
I look forward to trying to make something like this soon.
Thank you, Janeen, for your generosity and for sharing your talent ... :) Pat
