Giveaway Friday!

Today is the GIVEAWAY I promised in an earlier post.....

The monotone portrait art quilt pattern is up for grabs!
This little beauty is 16 x 22" (41x 56cm) and is really a breeze to put together.

I put this pattern together in 2 days - where I only worked on it for about an hour at a time. So overall about 2.5 - 3 hours work - longer if you feel you want to work slower.

I took the inspiration off a black and white photo where I noticed that most of the shades in the photo were grey and ligher grey. I wanted something in just grey but the blue just seemed like it needed to be there too.

Here is my finished top and now to be quilted. I'm going to make a scene in the background with fireworks and outlines of a city scape. When I'm done, I will post the photos.

The giveaway is going to be simple - who would like this pattern?

Leave me a message with your name - make sure you leave your email address too (how otherwise will I contact you?) you can leave it in code if you want  - (janeenvn(at)gmail(dot)com).

Please be nice and do a bit of following on bloglovin' and facebook ..... (buttons also on sidebar)
This blog and pattern business needs exposure to lots of quilty people. Please help me to spread the word. Thanks.
See .... Easy!

Giveaway ends Monday 10 March and I will email the winner and send the PDF file to them.
I'll throw in a surprise as well.......

Once the giveaway has ended I will be putting my pattern onto my Craftsy shop.

Now  -  On another matter entirely:

Today is our second installment for this QAL of "Girl with long hair in the wind" Art Quilt.

Here is a rundown of how I made my second block.
The block is divided into 4 sections. Following the instructions I made each one and then joined them together. Once done, I joined my block from week 1 and week 2 together.

I stuck them up onto the cupboard door so that I could get a better idea of what I was doing. The third block will be added to the bottom next installment. This is going well and you will also get a better idea of how big this art quilt will be.

All Info on our Art Quilt Page.

This is Friday in a nutshell...
Have a great week-end!
