I've also been learning how to make handbags - even how to put in zips...... Not my favourite! thinking of posting a photo of my bag but still uncertain.....
These are my mini blocks I've done so far...
These two are approx. 4,5" x 5"
The bottom block is 12" (30cm) and the postcard is an exact copy
The smaller humming bird is sooo cute! It's also an exact copy of the larger 12" block.

The humming bird is beautiful! I recently did PPing for the first time. Love the accuracy it provides! I just did flying geese and another very simple block but can see where this technique will be one that I come back to in the very near future :)
