Friday Party Time!

Robinson Crusoe was the only one to get all his work done by Friday.....

I might need Friday to visit me for a while....
I've been in a bit of a frizz because I need to get 3 quilts finished this week-end to be sent to Fayetteville in NC for a quilt show I was invited to.... Its so almost there and yet .... I need another pair of hands - to go and do all the housework, the homework, the mom's taxi work, the listening ear, in short BE the MOM.....and I will quilt......

Here are a few pics so far:

Big fan of tree quilts here. Yours is beautiful! I love that you used traditional prints for backgrounds as opposed to 'landscape' fabrics...very inspiring!

I just love those trees SO MUCH! I honestly cannot describe why, maybe it is the effect of movement. The design makes them feel like they are swaying in the wind. This effect is especially working on the block in the bottom right corner because it feels like the leaves on the background fabric are being blown.
