HST BoM September

Today will have to be the turn of our HST BoM for September.

WOW! Time flies when you're having fun!
This is the 9th block and the last one in our Block of the Month....

Maybe next year we try a ton of tiny ones.....

Meet our "Stars and Ribbons" block
18" (46cm)

This block went really quickly and looks really lovely.

I'm sure that if you made your block in lovely printed fabrics, that it would turn out fantastic. I started in black and white, so that's how I carried on with it and now I'm really glad.

This is a close-up of one of the stars. I just love the paisley looking fabric.

My finished block - looking good!!

This particular design is soooo lovely, it makes a fantastic quilt all on its own....

This is a 3x4 block design

These are the 9 blocks we have made and put together as a "quilt" idea....

Here are the 9 blocks I made in that layout.

The photo had to be done inside, because its sooooo windy outside and the blocks keep on blowing away.... Once I've sewn them together I will take a decent photo to show you all....

The pattern is available in my Craftsy shop.

If you have a photo of your finished block - then please share them on our Flickr group page

This is a great block with so much movement. I think it's good in just two colours; more would upset the balance. Thanks for showing it; I've pinned the photo.

Nice block and the whole quilt is looking good as I like the classic color combo :)

Great block and the mono colors are perfect!

That will be a great quilt -- black and white is always a great choice. Thanks for including the image of the quilt made from just the one block. It is fun to see that.

I love the fabrics you have chosen, this really shows off a real understanding of value in quilting.
