Friday's Fun Link Up Party

Hello and Welcome!

Its Friday and that means...
Its time for our Link Up Party

Today is also our Last day for the 'Lil Catz QaL Mini Quilt.

Unfortunately the quilting world is a lot like High School - which is really sad. There are sooo many amazing quilters and designers out there who have such amazing ideas and can do the job just as good as and sometimes a lot better than the imagined 'elite' among us....

I have been so PUT OFF this past week - by the ATTITUDES and the STUCK UP women who feel they run this show and the rest of us shall always only be clapping hands at their work while we sit on the fringes watching them show us how ....
Really makes me MAD!

You know what I say - To hell with all of it - I do my own thing and march to my own drum!!

You are ALL welcome to join me, create with me, play, be silly, have fun, ask questions, do your own thing, and generally have the time of our lives.....
Here we don't do criticism, snobishness, gossip, back stabbing....

*************************************

Right, that behind us, Lets get on with Whatever you have to show us!!!

Here are a few of my designs that either didn't make it into the new magazine issue or were just floating around until I finished them...
As soon as their instructions are done, they will be available in my Craftsy shop...

Show us what you've been up to with all your scraps, ideas, designs, etc -
it's welcome here!!

An InLinkz Link-up

*You can still download the FREE pattern from My EQ Seasons Fall/Autumn row

**********************

Hope you all have a great Friday!

I LOVE your new patterns! My favorites are the fish and the bees. They're so adorable! I also love your version of a haunted house. Excellent designs!

You go girl! Your art is just that, YOUR art. Tell all the naysayers to go sit on a whole cushion full of very sharp pinsčśÇ

Oh, I wish I had time to work on something new! I love the haunted house, too. And my 2 yr old son is currently OBSESSED with school buses! I may have to break down and make a pillow or book bag for him!!

Oh my, and all this time I've put you in the 'elite' category for designing! You are simply one of the very best designers out there. I'm sorry about whatever happened recently--tell them to stuff it.
Love the new work and can't wait to see the ones that did make it!

I agree with what you said! Even if I don't know the circumstances, I share your same attitude and idea about this form of art that is here to make our life more fun and enjoyable (not more stressful or upset)! Love your new patterns, creative and fun as usual!!

I agree with you that making quilts should be about fun and not about who is the best. Sad to hear that there is so much competetion going on. I hope you don't let yourself be put down and go on with your beautiful work! I really enjoy working with your patterns.

Oh wow! It was a fantastic party. I am so pleased to see all this stuff. I have gathered loads of great ideas for my nephew’s birthday bash but quite confused in selecting right venue for this party. Have shortlisted some of outdoor venues in NYC and going to book one among them.
