WIP Friday

Hello to everyone!

Sorry I haven't been giving the blog any attention since I posted the BOM's but I received news about my father who died on Wednesday.....

Not a lot to say really, we (my 2 brothers and I) never saw him since we were really young. Makes a person really confused as to what you're supposed to feel or to do...I'm still just thinking about it all. No real emotional connection or feeling yet....

Anyhooo....
A lot of ladies have left comments on the blog and I can't reply to you - the non-reply thingie on blogger is a real pain in the ...
Thanks for all the lovely compliments, and the encouragement.
The ladies who wanted to know about fabrics and blog buttons - all the info is in the BOM buttons to the right of the blog. You click on it and it will open a page where you can choose which one you're looking for.  Thanks

The Friday's Paper Piecing link up - what to say......
This year I'm only going to put it up once a month because I noticed that last year there was only the same 5 or 6 ladies who would add something. A huge big thank you to you ladies...
The end of each month we will get together and show off our paper pieced goodness.

What have you been up to this past week or so?
I've been finishing off some commissioned work - these pets are just so adorable.
I'll be adding them to my Craftsy shop once they're all done and delivered.

Have a wonderful Week-End
Thanks for stopping by!

Sorry for your loss.
Love the doggies!
I've got as far as printing the BOM pattern, seeing how many pieces there are and thinking maybe I'm not as intermediate as I thought! But I will give it a go :-)

Concerning the friday lin party I tried several times to load a picture but without success .....

The nwe BOM is wonderful again but for the moment I am waiting to the BEE's QAL - do you think that 2 Meter Background will be enough ?

Hi Janeen, so sorry to hear of your loss, even though you weren't close.

I did just finish the Brutus Memory Quilt this week and wrote a blog post. I'll try to remember to link up at month's end.

Thank you again for your creativity and generosity in creating that pattern. It means quite a lot to this quilter from Oregon, USA!!!

Hi Janeen,
sorry for your loss, but I can understand about your thoughts. It's not easy to know, what to think about it.
I have the same problem with the no-reply comments. Really a mess. There was a good tutorial on Quiltville, but I will now look at yours, too. :D
Greetings from Germany,
Rike

Sorry for your loss. My eldest son had the same response to the death of his biological father (my first husband) since he didn't really remember him at all and hadn't seen him since he was 4. Never the less, he was affected.

Love the labs!

So sorry for your loss ~

I love what you're doing with the Yellow Lab paper piecing ~ so sweet. You are so very talented! I had one, Daisy. She was such a love and I miss her every day.

Totally normal to mourn the loss of what you didn't have and now won't. Very sad. I'm sure it is his loss, but that doesn't make you feel any better. My sympathies.
