Today we are already on our Block #15 of the Beginners BOM
These Japanese inspired blocks are simple and yet very striking.
I made my blocks in a combination of Grey and Beige with bright pops of Orange colour.
This is our November block
It has a very interesting weave to the pattern
After cutting out the pattern and arranging them out in front of you, you can begin to make notes of which colour you have chosen to go where and write it onto the paper.
I can't decide if I'm going to sew the blocks together without a border between them or if I need to add the borders.....hmmmm...
This particular block on its own can make for a very interesting quilt.
The weave pattern is really loose, so it makes a great pattern of its own.
