5th Day of our Twelve Days of Christmas

Time really is flying...

We're busy with day 5 of our
12 Days of Christmas....

Today's random number is block #2

With this piece you now have three of the first row pieces and you can even join them together once they're done...

I know this because I've seen a few of the photos from people who are sewing their Gingerbread Village already... and believe me they're so beautiful...

I hope you are all still enjoying the giveaways...

This was block #3 made
by Ulrike Brandl of Germany. I just love it!
Thanks for letting us see how cute it can be.

When I look at those trees, I think they may be a signature style of mine. They seem to be in a lot of the quilts I design....
.hehehehe....

Ive also seen blocks on Instagram that a lady made of the houses.....oh my goodie gumdrop, they are turning out fantastic....

Now I need to finish those Bobcats I have to sew for a swap and make my own village....

That's it! and now you're off to visit
Marian at Seams to be Sew
to get the second part of block 2...

**************************

The December Bitty Block and Mystery Block will be available on 19 December....

Have a Great Day!

Thanks for all the support and encouragement!
Come back tomorrow for more!

Loving these blocks!!! Is there going to be a pattern posted today from Marian? It is almost lunch time here and all the others have been posted a lot earlier. Really don't want to miss any of the blocks. Thanks

I'm having some trouble. I can't seem to find Marian's new posting/patterns for this block #2. Even your link goes back to yesterday's (12.6.16) posting. Perhaps you know about this...if not, is there something I'm doing incorrectly?

I have not done one of these block a day type projects yet. I stumbled upon this one the first day and am enjoying it. This is only my 2nd paper piecing project and I am loving it.

I haven't actually been able to sew any of the blocks yet, but I've already got the vacation calendar calculated to have a big sewing day with this pattern. Thank you for your generosity in sharing them with us.

Janeen, I am on your mailing list so I get e-mails on a regular basis, however up until today I haven't been able to get on my computer, mush less opened an e-mail in several days. I have missed out on the first four days of patterns, and I am so sad for that, but I do know I will be able to buy them later so that makes me feel better. When I opened your e-mail today, and saw The 12 Days of Christmas had started, oh man, the pics so far of y'alls blocks are beautiful. This is how I first went to Marion's blog.
I have a Craftsy account, and I have a very large wish list on there, and most of the patterns on there are yours. You are such a talented designer, I have loved your work for years. Now I get to check out Marion's account and see what all she has been up to, also.
So I want to thank you both for all that you do. I think it is awesome that designers share patterns on their blogs, but when they put all this together, then give it for free that is very special. So if I don't get to post again, this is thanks for the whole series, and such a beautiful quilt.
Have a Merry Christmas,
Lisa, in Alabama
