Hi there to everyone and those doing the Quilt A Long..
We've started on our first Landscape Row which looks like the African trees with mountains in the background.
I hope you're all enjoying the whole experience.
I have something that came up with the joining of the sections.
A lady sent me a message saying that her top section was larger by a half inch than the bottom half.
Lets see....
I would check to see if I joined the sections correctly
I would check to see if my seams were all according to the lines given
then as a last resort, I would rip some of the paper out along the seam where it needs to be sewn, because the paper hold the fabric really tightly in places. Sometimes free - ing the piece from the paper will give you the small stretch you need to sew it all together.
I don't understand how these things happen, but sometimes they do.
The pattern is really very accurate and will fit together properly, its just that sometimes fabrics, ironing, how you sew all play a part in making the thing 'goof'....
I've had to 'fix' things in the past, so it does happen and it has happened to me too...
And this is still as far as I am with the row....
I've really just been swamped with other work, but not to worry, I'll try to power through this one and show you all something great really soon...

When you are fitting all your sections together how do you iron? Open? To one side? How they want to fall? I love your patterns. I'm finishing up the koala and hope to start your baby fox next week.
Today I sew the first part together, there wasn't any problem.
