Hello to everyone!!
Today we finally have our new Block of the Month for our Wild Babies and its a cute Giraffe calf....
I was watching the Live feed camera of the Giraffe on Facebook (April) and waiting for her to have her baby and that was taking forever - but finally - a cute little boy...
Now Im waiting to see what they call him...
I know it wasn't the Cincinnati Zoo because there I'm watching the cute Hippo baby. Facebook is also good for some things....
The blocks were sent out and when they came back I thought I would cry. They're so beautiful!!!
This block was made by a good friend Joan Wintersgill of Texas.

If I heard it right the zoo where April's baby is has made >1 million dollars with raffles on name the baby. Zoo's do a great job and do not get enough funding from entrance fees. Thanks Janeen for the wild BOM series!
I saw this cute little guy on my Instagram feed and just had to look you up! This is darling. I briefly glanced through your shop and you are very talented. My paper piecing skills are still in beginner stage, but you can be sure I will keep you in mind when I need a pattern. Great job!
I watched April too!! Love giraffes. My sister called me and said "I see hooves sticking out!" So glad she did call; we were on the phone together for the whole birth, oooing and ahhing and cheering her on :) Thanks for the baby giraffe pattern!
I live in the area where April is and can't wait for the park to open so I can see the baby. It was awesome being able to watch it on Facebook. Thanks for the pattern. The wild baby patters are so cute!
