I've been off the whole 'blog air space' for a few days
I've been so busy with my daughter's wedding arrangements that it makes me feel so overwhelmed sometimes. Since we've also been back from holiday I've had a stupid head cold that seems to like where it is and won't leave....
so in all - its been a rather unproductive week!
I wanted to show you all the Garden Quilt that I've been trying to make (one block a day) and its already taking shape now.
I've used the Storm at Sea pattern and the blocks are 5" (14cm) with 6 rows making the whole thing 30" (78cm).
This is at the halfway point with 3 rows. I love the kaleidoscope look of the background. I used 5 different light blue fabrics.
The second half is almost done, so now I really just need to get myself "back" and pull my finger...
Once its finished I'll finish writing the instructions and add it to my shop.
Have a Great Monday!!

I've started a QA Designs Group on Facebook where you are welcome to join and add any of your finished blocks made with the QADesigns patterns. I really love to see them all.
(when you open the shop.... click on the right side 'sort by tab' and press NEWEST.... then everything will show up)

Our children got married on the hottest day of the year! Three successive summers. I can emphasize will feeling overwhelmed! So glad this summer all I have to do is play with our 8 month old granddaughter for a few hours a day that mommy and daddy’s work schedules overlap.
Hope you are on the mend soon!
Love the quilt! Take care of yourself!
