Woven Log Cabin

Today sees a new block that has a sort of look and feel of a "log cabin" but also "woven".

 This will be the :
"Woven Log Cabin"

The blocks measure 10" (25cm) and are relatively easy to put together. The centre has four blocks that will be joined using a partial seam.

All patterns are available at my Craftsy Shop for easy PDF Downloads.

This is one of the Octagon Flower blocks that I was showing yesterday. The blocks are 6" (16cm) and extremely easy. The pattern has 2 segments and a straight seam across the centre. No joining points to drive you crazy.

I just LOVE the paisly and flowers fabric.......
Now to make a whole bunch and see where that leads.....

I've decided to create a group for 'Quilt Art Designs' in Flickr so that if you have made something from any of the patterns, you can share a photo of it with everyone.

Please join in and show us how busy you've been.

Hi, I stopped by from Let's Get Social Sunday! You have some absolutely beautiful quilt designs. I used to watch my mother and her church group make quilts when I was young. I haven't made any but they make me feel like home. I followed you on some social media. If you would like to check out my blog here is my BlogLovin link. http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/11133059
