FNSI

Friday nights  =  the most boring things on TV ever....
so sewing a few things seems like a good idea.

Over at Sugarlane Quilts they're having a FNSI (Friday Night Sew In) so I decided to join in and try to get a few things done...

Shame, my Jack Russel (Pepsi) had to go for the all girls operation yesterday, so she was soooo out of it last night.

This morning she's feeling a little sorry for herself and doesn't even want to get out of bed.

I had time to sit and cut out all my pattern pieces for the "In the Garden" BoM for September and now it needs to get a move on and get done. I'm finding it really hard to see without my glasses these days, so ..... it would seem that age has found where I live, only hope it doesn't tell excercise. (Thats because I'm in the fitness protection program. Shhh don't let anyone know)

I sewed up my first block on the "Quiet Landscape" Art Quilt QAL
Really easy! Can't show and tell too much, must wait for Monday....

Oh, and I managed a few more lines on my Triangle quilt. Eventually this will all be done and I will actually have something to put on my knees before winter ends... I'm sure its Spring already anyway because our day temperatures are around 25 Deg C.

Just look at that backing fabric - just amazing. It looks like sepparate strips, but its all one solid piece of fabric. Soooo Cool!

That was it for Friday Night Sew In..... Take a look at Sugarlane Quilts, there's a link up and you can visit a whole load more sites before the weekend's over...

Bye...

Oh, and by the way, Paper Piecing 1/4" Magazine is having a Giveaway! Please go and check it all out...

Lovely projects. The triangle quilt is such rich colours. It is beautiful. Pepsi does look a bit sad. Looks like a lovely bed though.
