WiP sort of anyway...

Wow! what a week it's been already...

I haven't done any sewing this week - just too busy with the magazine (really excited!) and catching up on long lost housework....booo!

I was so excited to get a few photos from my friend Ulrike Brandl in Germany. She has been following the Hippos Parade and making some of the blocks. Take a look - they are sooo amazing. Her hippos are sooo cute! I just love every one of them. Thanks Ulrike, I just love your work and all your help with the improvements.

I think the Hippo Pirate is still my favourite!

I just love his parrot and then the whole cheeky attitude.

Its just jump up and down dang cute!!!

 Just before I run ....

Do you ever remember this Zebra?
It's made of paper and stands about 15cm high - my son made it for me.
Tooooo Amazing!

Well, now check out this violin he made. Its about 30cm high. The detail is absolutely staggering!

That's it for Wednesday... must get back to work....

Your son's work is awesome! I imagine that takes quite a while to create.

Your son is as talented as his mother. Is the Violin & bow made out of paper like the zebra? I am a violinist and I think he did a great job.

Speaking of violins, I would love to see one of your hippos playing the violin or cello or other musical instruments.

The hippo blocks are so cute! I'd never seen them featured before. And you son is a genius with paper! Those are so remarkable.
