Block of the Month - October

Hello to everyone who has patiently waited for Craftsy to pull their finger out of their ......
The new system still won't let me upload a PDF...
SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!  Patterns will be available this month from my Google Drive.
Still a free download. SO, read on.....

 *******************************

So let's try AGAIN......

The time is really flying now -
only 87 days to Christmas....

Today we start with the Wanderlust Block of the Month.

We're in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and looking at Mount Corcovado with the Christ the Redeemer Statue.

Unfortunately I didn't get anyone to make the block beforehand for me - things were just so hectic here and so many things needing to be finished off first, so its just the design image this time.

The block is FREE for October
I hope you have fun!

I usually post these blocks to my Craftsy shop so that I can see how many of the blocks are scooped up in a month, but it seems that isn't even possible anymore either, so.....
** Now you can download the block through my Google Drive

******************************

We're also doing our
Beginner Block of the Month for October
and its really an interesting one...

The pattern is still easy to make and once you see how I divided the pattern you will understand why I say its not at all difficult.

This month we will only be making 1 block.

I hope you enjoy sewing your block together too... Only 2 more to go.....

The pattern is Free and The block is downloadable through my google drive
HERE

October also saw the new issue of Paper Piecing 1/4" magazine with the
Festive Season patterns.

All info on the magazine HERE

I've connected a direct link to the magazine at Craftsy from our site.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love the Christ the Redeemer block!! I do hope Craftsy straightens things out quickly as I want to make this for my mom for a Christmas gift. I have already found a problem finding the part on my Craftsy account that shows me the designers I follow and have emailed them about it. There's no way I can remember who they are to start over!! And you are one of them.

I really like the Rio block. I can't imagine where how Craftsy got the idea the "New & Improved" Craftsy is better. I like the fact that I can sort by designer, except it doesn't list all of the designers, and I have made sure none are archived. Craftsy is no help. I sent them an email and their response was to uncheck archive. They said if a designer is not listed, they are no longer active on Craftsy, but my patterns are still available. They didn't tell me how I can find them other than scrolling through all patterns which I did before. The clincher is I got the same response when I told them patterns I purchased yesterday are not showing up. I have also found that links to Craftsy from websites don't work either. Even some of Craftsy own links don't work.

thank goodness for google drive, I wish I'd thought of it sooner, but thank you Janeen, I've followed these botms all year, I'd hate to miss out on them because of the issues with Craftsy. Hugs!!!!
