Not only is it the first of the month - so that means a new Block of the Month in our Wild Babies series.... its also..... my business' fourth birthday! So that means we're having a world wide party!
Lets get started with the Block of the Month for September...It's a cute baby Otter... I think they're called pups... and this one is a fluffy sea otter. They're not so sleek looking as the river otters. I also think this one is a little older, but still a pup...
I look for photos on the web and then make a pattern from all the info gathered. This one with his arm waving at us just couldn't not be made...
I hope you all enjoy sewing this one too!

The pattern measures 18x20" and is on the intermediate level, but I must warn you - those eyes - well, don't say you didn't know....
This is the Bethlehem Star.... its a feathered star.... and I just couldn't resist making it into an easier paper pieced pattern.
I love the way you could make this in Christmas fabrics or even in monochrome fabrics to get a snowflake....
The pattern is 16" and on the easy intermediate level...
I'm feeling a cute Christmas lap quilt coming on....................
