Folk Art Horse

Hello everyone...

Today is freezing cold here in Pretoria. It's winter for real now.... NOT my favourite...

This past week was so 'all over the place'. I still do not have my sewing machine back from the shop so I've been using my really old machine again. Shame it sounds like a bit of a tractor against my other machine.

I've worked something out and its a bit of Garden Mystery quilt. Each day I've made only one block. The prototype is 30" (77cm) and each block is 5" and based on the Storm at Sea block.

This is Day #1 - Day #4. Once I'm finished with making up the prototype I will add it to my shop.

And for today.....

We have another in our Folk Art blocks. This is something like a Dala Horse, but I just didn't like the look without a tail and besides the Dala image has a lot of copyrights on it too.

So, we have our own version of a Folk Art Horse.

As usual it measures 12" (31cm) and is on the intermediate level.
Once the new Folk Art pattern gets onto the blog, the old ones are removed to make space in my GDrive.

I hope you all have a wonderful week-end..... no matter what the weather!!

I've started a QA Designs Group  on Facebook where you are welcome to join and add any of your finished blocks made with the QADesigns patterns. I really love to see them all.

That's a wonderful pattern! I would share some of my summer degrees, if I could!
