Welcome to Day #2 of our
12 Days of Christmas - Advent Calendar
This year I decided to make something that would be quick and easy to make. Something that could be even made in a 'hurry' for someone special. Something that could even use up a few of those scraps you have.
You could always leave the numbers off the blocks and just have the image with some interesting fabric for the background. The size makes for a mug-rug, a pot holder, cute little table decoration.
I even heard from someone that they're going to add little metal rings to the finished block and then tie onto that day a little bag of sweets or a gift using that ring - making it more of a cute advent calendar.
This is our Day #2 block
The cute Stars block measures 8" (21cm)
We will only be doing the Advent blocks from Monday to Friday and not
over the week-ends. Block 3 on Monday then.
The 12 smaller blocks will be $1on the day it is released for a 24hour period and then it will be $3
if you collect them daily.
