Nordic Style Blocks

I've been busy with the beautiful Norwegian styled blocks for a more modern approach to a lap quilt. Don't you just love the hand crafts that come from there?

The blocks are 12" (30cm) and are really easy to put together.

These 5 blocks are the "idea". Yesterday I posted the first one (middle block) and today is the turn of the second block (first in the line up).
I'm deciding if I want to put them in a line horizontally or diagonally. The rest of the quilt will be a plain colour. The blues and greys seem to work well together - still not sure.

The blocks all have a "centre" that will be added onto the block so that there will be no crazy points coming together to freak me out.

Blocks are available at Craftsy.

Please have a look at all the available E-Books. We are still busy with out E-Book drive for Charity.
Thanks to all who have been very supportive.

Janeen - Love these blocks they remind me of snowflakes. Your idea of just a row of them sounds really cool. I think I have found a new winter quilt.
