Juicy Gossip!!!

Last Friday of 2013 - Last weekend of 2013 - YAAAY!!

Can't say that 2013 has been too rough. Loads of new things have made a start in our house in 2013 - overall not too bad. Each one's "things" still up and running - always a good sign.

What have we been up to this week? finished this Friday? Well, here's a bit of gossip that I've heard and MUST tell all of you about it. Come closer, let me whisper this in your ear...

Quilt Art Designs is doing not 1 but 2 BoM next year - yes, a Paper piecing BoM and a Traditional HST BoM. Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but she's made a few blocks to start and I took a few photos to show you - a peep if you will, into what's in store for next year.

Our HST BoM will be starting  January 3rd.

Each first Friday will be the release of a new pattern in this venture.
There will be 9 blocks (each 18") - larger than your average joe blocks, but wonderful at the same time.

I've decided to go with a black and white colour combination, but you're welcome to go with whatever you choose.

Instructions and photos to follow.....

The blocks will look something like this one here on the right......

There are buttons on the sidebar or in the tab on the top of the Home page you can grab to add to your collection  - to make it easier to get back here - of course....

Second bit of gossip - are you still listening?

January 1 will see the Paper Piecing BoM...

Here we have a collection of trees that are auditioning for the January spot. I need to make the paper piecing pattern a little easy so that we can attract new and eager quilters to this BoM as well.

The theme is "In the Garden" and we will be making 12 lovely 12" (30cm) blocks that will make a gorgeous quilt.

There will be cute furry animals, birds, flowers and even a surprise or two.

I'm not sure you must repeat this, but someone needs to tell someone about this ...........

Buttons are on the sidebar, help yourself to one....

Have a great week-end!

I'm excited by both BOMs! How should I sign up?

Hello Letty, The Paper Piecing BoM will be Free and available each beginning of the month in my Craftsy shop and the HST BoM pattern will be $2 also in the shop. The month after the paper piecing block will go back to the "on sale" pile. This is so that if you don't want to join in, maybe you will still just like the pattern.
So, signing up is not necessary.
Thanks for the support.

Looks great Janeen. Tempted to join, but unfortunately my current two BOMs stalled somewhere in the summer and I need to get them jumpstarted again, so better not sign up for any more until I get my current projects finished.
Thanks again for joining Show & Tell.
