April BOM - Oceans

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by!

Today is the turn of our April block for the Oceans Block of the Month

In all my rush to get a few things finished, I forgot to take photos of my process until I was almost finished. Sorry about that.

It all still works the same way.
Decide on your fabrics - I tried to keep the amount of colours I used to a minimum.

The water fabric I used makes the bottle look as if it is in shallower water.

Its all really up to you - make your block just as you like.

I wrote the colour name onto my segments and then started with the two outside water pieces. Really quick.

Once I got to the bottle, I found the design chart too small for my eyes, so I put that part of the pattern onto my computer screen and just scrolled up and down having a good look at what I was doing. I sewed the segments together and TA DA!

Here is my finished block - not too bad! It came in a tad over 14.5", so I had enough to give it a nice trim to the un-finished block size.

I hope you enjoy putting your block together too.

I have added the pattern to the Craftsy Shop and the BOM Page.
