Quilt Art Design: Friday's Fun!

I really want to make a Marching Socks or Christmas Stockings....
Its easy and its quick....
my kind of project.

I cut out the first stocking pattern pieces but then couldn't decide on which green was 'Christmasy' enough... and then which background to use....
So.... I had to go shopping.... just had to.

My daughter and I went to Hobby-X (a hobby expo) here in Pretoria (what luck!!) and I was into every quilting shop and she was into every paint and pen shop...
Now I think I can carry on with this cute Sock Race....

The pieces are big and easy to manage, so I'll be able to make a stocking a day I recon....

Would you like to join me in the Amazing Sock Race??
Not that we're actually racing, but I think a cool giveaway at the end should sweeten the deal.

First gets this pattern of Santa in the Chimney (30")

Rest gets this cute Presents Runner pattern (12x36cm)

Thing is - you must be finished with the Christmas Stockings top and take a photo that you share with us on the Friday Fun Link up which will be held on 30 September....
