I've had such a rubbish head cold this past week. I tried so hard to avoid it when my son was sneezing and coughing, but it seems it knew exactly where to find me....
I just hate that feeling of being so 'slow in the head' and everything is such an issue.....
Anyhoo.....
I wanted to show that I was also busy sewing my Wonky Neighbours Border for the wonky mini quilt I made.
I have so many scraps and I feel bad throwing some of them out, so these kind of projects are just what was called for. Unfortunately the bigger scraps have now just become some smaller scraps and I still don't want to throw them out. (Im talking about a 4 to 5" piece) You can always use them - somewhere.....
This is the plan - the eventual finished Wonky Neighbourhood .....
The centre measures 24" and the borders 8" each side. Altogether 40" and then another solid border of 2" each side.
The sewing part is going together very quickly which suits me just fine...
This is where we are at the moment.
Im thinking of adding another border around this part before I add the wonky house border.
Not long now..... This is the almost done top border.
Thank heavens it super easy.

I was also behind my computer making our next BOM block for July..... its super cute!!!
and then I also made this one...
This is "cat sleeping on a quilt"
I just love looking at photos with a cat assistant helping out with a quilt....
I miss my assistant ....
I miss my assistant ....
The great thing about EQ7 is the adding of fabrics to your design. It really gives it a different feel.
I've already added this pattern (24x30" - 62x76cm) to my Craftsy Shop.
If you have any photos you would like to share, you can always link them to our Flickr group.
Thanks

Love the cat quilting!
your houses are so adorable. Ohh, I do hope you get better soon. colds are so not fun. this cat is adorable. my Shadow kitty loves to sleep like this and on his side with his head upside down.
Looking forward to July's BOM. My kitty will be white ( the color of our kitty Cherry). My husband found her across the street crying...dumped by her mother, as she wasn't weaned yet) We have so many stray cats in our neighbor from irresponsible pet owners.
